We’re proud to announce that Trunk is now an official sponsor of Stockport County for the 2025/26 season.
This partnership means a lot to us – not just emotionally, but strategically.
At Trunk, our entire approach is built around three core principles: Consult. Craft. Connect. Everything we do is about creating meaningful connections, and there are few things that connect people more powerfully than football.
We believe in sports sponsorship done right. Not as a vanity exercise, not just for brand exposure, but as a platform that delivers value to clubs, to brands and – most importantly – to fans. That’s why we’re doing this. We want to play a part in something that matters to people. Because when you activate sponsorship properly, it becomes part of the matchday, part of the conversation, part of the culture.
We’ve delivered creative campaigns for some of the biggest clubs in world football – Premier League teams and European giants – but some of the work we’re most proud of has been right here at Stockport County.
From the 140-year anniversary kit launch video that won a European Content Award, to our ‘Forever Being Beautiful’ series with former players like Ashley Williams and Michael Rose, and last year’s end-of-season awards, where we created a surprise video for Ethan Pye featuring his family – this is exactly the type of work we love to do: surprising, heartfelt and fan-first.
This club has always felt like a community asset. Matchdays here feel different. You can see it, you can feel it. The atmosphere, the connection between the fans, the players and the town – it’s something special. It’s not just a football club, it’s a reflection of everything we value.
As Club President Steve Bellis put it: “It’s fantastic to have Trunk involved for a number of reasons. Firstly, our values are very much aligned in terms of being central to the community. Together, I think we’re going to achieve great things.”
He’s right. This isn’t just a sponsorship. It’s a thank you – and hopefully the start of something even bigger.
